I’ve been performing with fire for two years, though my journey with flow arts began six years ago with poi. My fire act blends contact staff and poi into a progressive, dance-based performance rooted in tribal and mystic themes, with martial arts inspiration, storytelling, costume, and choreography.
I open with contact staff—weaving hands rolls, tosses, halos, neck wraps, and more—then transition to one pair of poi, incorporating stalls, anti-spin, flowers, 3D patterns, and body movement. I never stay static; the performance follows the music, evolving in mood and intensity.
I typically perform at small music events, hostels, and hotels. While fire is not my main profession, I’ve practiced it with love and performed professionally for two years, receiving wonderful feedback on my skills and presence.
Fire is my passion—it centers my energy, and I feel called to share that energy with others. I’m excited to take the next step and apply to festivals.
Thank you for welcoming my art.
